Dr. Newman has made me a new woman! He is a tremendously skilled surgeon as well as a compassionate and quite wonderful person. His staff are all personable, professional and warm. I spent the night in their postoperative suite and received top notch care! The pre-operative calls by both patient coordinators and anesthesiologist helped to lessen any anxiety and answered all of my questions. Excellent follow-up care as well. I hope that I was a good patient for them and not too much trouble! I highly recommend Dr. Newman and South Bay Plastic Surgery group.

From my first phone call with Dom at the front desk I knew I was in good hands. When I walked into the beautiful and clean office and Dom already knew exactly who I was automatically easing the worries that I always have when dealing with the medical world. She’s the type of person you hope is always the first person to see you when you’re walking into somewhere that you don’t really want to be at, but have to. I then met with the wonderful MA Claudia who is not only always in a good mood, but is so helpful. Good at her job not just top caliber professionally/ technically, but her bedside manner has a way of making you feel comfortable even at your most vulnerable. Then came meeting the surgeon with it all Dr. Rendon. Absolutely professional, thorough, and his work quite literally made me happier than I even thought possible. He’s the type of doctor that explains everything in a way that you can understand making you less afraid of the unknown. He takes great pride in what he does as he should. He’s the perfect balance of technical and an artist. If you’re considering this office consider no more and do yourself the favor you deserve and work with this team!

I have been seeing Dr. Newman for a number of years and truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his entire practice. Dr. Newman is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and sensitive, something I especially appreciate because, by nature, many things discussed with a plastic surgeon may involve feelings of insecurity/vulnerability. He has a wonderful way of making you feel comfortable discussing those concerns without ever making you feel judged, embarrassed, or more self-conscious. I have never felt pressured or rushed in any way. He takes his time, listens to my concerns, answers all of my questions (numerous times!), and makes sure I feel completely comfortable and informed. I have always really appreciated his calm, caring approach and wonderful demeanor. The entire office staff is equally wonderful. Everyone is so genuinely kind, friendly, helpful, and personable. You immediately feel welcomed and cared for when you walk into the office, which makes such a difference. I also see Stephanie and Jessica on the MedSpa side of the practice and absolutely adore them both! They are lovely, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful. They really listen to my concerns, are always responsive when I have questions, take the time to explain things, and help me decide what is best for me rather than ever making me feel pressured. It is rare to find a practice where you feel this comfortable with both the doctor and everyone on the team. After being a patient for several years, I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Newman, Stephanie, Jessica, and the entire staff. I am so grateful to have found them! ❤️

Great experience all around! The staff is incredibly attentive and very good communication throughout my surgical experience. I felt comfortable and supported through it all. Incredibly thankful to Dr. Newman and staff for his attention to detail and making my breast augmentation dreams a reality! Highly recommend❤️

An incredible experience! A few reasons why: -Every appointment is efficient and always on time. -Every staff member is friendly and knowledgeable. -Dr. Jewell is so professional and kind. My surgical result is also perfect- everything looks amazing and every step of pre, during, and post surgery was communicated perfectly. Would recommend 10/10 times!

Dr. Lisa Jewell was my surgeon and she was fantastic! Her care for me exceeded my expectations. Not only did she explain my procedure thoroughly, she put me at ease before surgery. Dr. Jewell's after care is special, making sure healing is on track, and helping me to look good again. I have never had a surgeon personally care so much. I'm grateful for the experience!

My wife went in for a tummy tuck. Dr. Jewel was amazing on all fronts. She is world class. My wife's results already (at the 2 week mark) are excellent. Her tummy looks dramatically different (dramatically better and worth the cost and recovery journey). The surgery was super smooth, quick and my wife had minimal pain after the first couple days. Dr. Jewel is very attentive throughout the process and even sent surprise flowers with a special note of well wishes for my wife's recovery. The location of the facility is great (in Torrance outside of the L.A. congestion), easily accessible, plenty of parking, and all office staff are very friendly and competent. I highly recommend. I will post before/after photos in a few months.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at South Bay Plastic Surgeons. From my very first consultation to my recovery after my facelift, I felt genuinely cared for every step of the way. A very special thank you to Lupe Karam. Lupe was such a wonderful source of support throughout my journey. She was always kind, patient, and responsive, making sure all of my questions were answered and helping me feel confident and comfortable during the entire process. Her warmth, compassion, and genuine care made all the difference. I also can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Burrell. She is incredibly knowledgeable, highly skilled, and truly exceptional at what she does. My facelift results are amazing, and I couldn't be happier. I did experience some unexpected complications, and Dr. Burrell handled everything with remarkable expertise, confidence, and care. She took the time to explain everything, made sure I felt supported, and went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible outcome. Her bedside manner is outstanding, and the level of care and concern she shows for her patients is truly unmatched. She is simply the best.
