I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Michael Newman. From the very first appointment, he demonstrated exceptional skill, professionalism, compassion, and genuine care. He always took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and make sure I felt informed, comfortable, and supported throughout every step of my journey. During one of the most challenging times in my life, his expertise, patience, and reassuring presence gave me confidence, trust, and peace of mind. Dr. Newman is supported by an incredible team that truly reflects his commitment to exceptional patient care. I am especially grateful to Elizabeth, Alyssa, Kenzie, Heather, Claudia, and Angelica, along with the many other wonderful staff members who were always kind, compassionate, patient, and responsive. They listened to my concerns, addressed my questions with care, and consistently went above and beyond to support me through surgery and recovery. Going through multiple surgeries and recovery can be overwhelming, but Dr. Newman and his team made me feel cared for, heard, and supported every step of the way. While I still have my final reconstruction ahead of me, I feel completely confident moving forward under Dr. Newman’s care. The trust he has earned through his expertise, attention to detail, and genuine compassion gives me great peace of mind and optimism about the next stage of my journey I will always be grateful for the outstanding care I received. I have been using GLP-1 products for about five months. My weight loss has been steady and exciting! South Bay Plastic Surgeons have been instrumental in my understanding of my journey. They have provided me with valuable education in the weight loss process and nutrition information. This is invaluable as I go through times of plateau, or digestion issues. I have the highest confidence in their knowledge, and communication skills when I need assurance. Having lost almost 25 pounds obviously makes me happy looking in the mirror, and wearing clothes I was unable to several months ago. The change in my energy level however, is even more gratifying than my changing body measurements. My health is improving overall. I am able to be as active as I want to be. My fitness level continues to improve. These activities, playing very actively with my grandchildren, even being able to clean my house to the level I want, truly motivate me. The happiness accompanying my journey is a true surprise. I will continue to learn and experience through the guidance of South Bay Plastic Surgeons. Dr. LIang performed surgery on a spot of melanoma on my forehead. The incision needed to be in excess of 6 cm to remove the cancer. Dr. LIang thought a skin graph would be needed to close the wound. I asked him to try to complete the surgery without a graph. Because of the size of the incision, I thought I would end up with a zipper like mark on my forehead. In fact, Dr. Liang managed to close the wound without a skin graph. He did such a brilliant job with his stitches that today you would not know Ì had surgery. Dr. LIang was honest in his expectations, competent in his work, and very informative during our discussions. And his office runs like a clock. Never did we wait more than a few minutes to see Dr. Liang. John Sullivan

I highly recommend Dr. Newman for explant surgery. After having breast implants for over 20 years, this was a big decision for me, and he made me feel comfortable and confident from the very first consultation. Dr. Newman took the time to answer all my questions, and his caring, professional approach put me at ease throughout the entire process. My results exceeded my expectations, and my recovery was smoother than I anticipated. I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Newman and his wonderful staff for their support and exceptional care.

I had a tummy tuck in April of 2026 with Dr James Liang, and am so impressed with both him as a surgeon and person, and all of his supporting staff, from the attendant anesthesiologist to the front office personnel. My results are nothing short of amazing to me, and the confidence he instilled through his conveyed knowledge, experience, and expertise was so very reassuring. He stands apart because he listens and will not leave the room until he is completely assured all questions have been answered. His post operative follow up ensures close and frequent observation, and I have already passed along his name and number to 2 friends. Having received his name from another, I have no doubt his practice will continue to thrive through personal referrals. It is unusual to have a doctor spend as much time as he does with patients - both before surgery in consultation - the day of surgery before and after the event, and several post op visits. This, in addition to the solid pre and post op instructions given, and encouragement always to ask more questions, makes Dr Liang one of a kind.

I cannot recommend this plastic surgery office enough !! The weight loss results have been absolutely amazing, and the entire experience from start to finish was professional, supportive, and life- changing. Emily and Dr. Rendon were incredible throughout the whole process. Emily truly goes above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable, motivated and cared for. The staff is welcoming, the office is beautiful, and the results speak for themselves. I finally feel confident and healthy again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real results and outstanding care!
