I cannot say enough incredible things about Dr. Jewell, her staff & my entire experience from start to finish. I spent years considering a breast augmentation & met with several plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills & Santa Monica before meeting Dr. Jewell. I did extensive research & was extremely cautious—especially since several close friends (including my mom) had implants removed due to Breast Implant Illness. Safety was non-negotiable for me. I breastfed both of my boys (now 9 & 11) & honestly loved my body before & after kids. I never felt like I needed a BA & would’ve been happy forever with the body God gave me. The only reason I reconsidered was after learning about low-profile Motiva Ergonomix implants—their natural look/feel, impressive safety stats, <1% capsular contracture rate, & implant warranty. After educating myself on all risks, I felt genuinely safe moving forward. Paired with Dr. Jewell’s reputation for conservative, natural results, everything clicked. I didn’t need a lift—just wanted to restore lost volume & go up one modest cup size. My goal was simple: results so natural people would wonder… “did she or didn’t she?” From the first consult, I was blown away. Dr. Jewell is warm, patient & incredibly thorough. She answered all my questions (I had a lot), never rushed or pressured me, & made me feel confident in my decision. Between the handwritten note, friendly front desk staff, clear communication & thoughtful follow-up, the experience truly felt white-glove. My surgery was Dec 16 & recovery was unbelievably smooth. My mom—a nurse of 50+ years—was blown away by how minimal my pain was. Just days later I was Christmas shopping with her (no carrying bags 😂). Dr. Jewell & her staff even sent me flowers on Christmas—so classy & thoughtful. Now 6 weeks post-op, I have full sensation (including nipples) & my breasts look & feel INCREDIBLE. Friends literally say, “I can’t believe these aren’t your real boobs!” 😂 And honestly, they are real to me—soft, natural & beautiful. I chose low-profile Motiva Ergonomix implants, over the muscle, 275ccs—a very modest upgrade from my 34B. I work out a lot & wanted to avoid animation deformity; this option was perfect for me. I never thought I’d be the woman showing everyone her boobs (or PUBLICLY writing a review)… yet here we are 😂 I am OBSESSED with my results. If you want a surgeon who is meticulous, experienced, has a 10/10 bedside manner & truly goes above & beyond, I will insist you consider Dr. Jewell. She is world-class. My only regret is not doing this sooner. I feel & look like me—just naturally enhanced.

After five previous surgeries related to breast cancer, my right breast was never properly reconstructed — physically or emotionally. I had honestly given up hope that things could ever look or feel right again. Then I met Dr. Lisa Jewel, and everything changed. From our very first appointment, she truly listened to me. She understood not only what I wanted aesthetically, but what this journey had meant to me personally. Her compassion, attention to detail, and confidence immediately put me at ease - something I hadn't felt with any previous surgeon. Six months later, the results are beyond anything I could have imagined. Everything looks incredible, and more importantly, my confidence has been completely restored. I finally feel like myself again. Every single person in her office deserves praise as well - from scheduling to billing to the clinical staff, everyone treated me with kindness, patience, and genuine care. They listened to my needs and made the entire process seamless and supportive. Finding Dr. Jewel was truly life-changing. This experience has been priceless, and I am endlessly grateful.

If I could give one million stars to Dr. Lisa Jewell and her team at SBPS, I would! In August I had a consultation with Dr. Jewell for a breast reduction and immediately knew she was the surgeon I wanted to trust with this life-altering surgery. She was kind, informative, upfront about limitations and goals, and detailed in her care. Dr. Jewell was also compassionate and realistic rather than judgmental when it came to my weight. Many surgeons turn away candidates for being overweight, or ask them to lose a certain amount of weight before they'll take them on for a reduction. Dr. Jewell was upfront that, as long as you're a healthy candidate in terms of labs/pre-op numbers/overall wellness, she does not see being overweight as an immediate "no" for a reduction. She told me I only needed to lose weight if *I* wanted to, and even sent me a handwritten note after our consult saying that I'd be an excellent candidate for surgery. This thoughtful gesture and her compassion really sealed the deal for me in terms of selecting a surgeon. This first consultation was also where I met Stephanie Perez, the absolutely AMAZING Patient Care Coordinator at SBPS. Stephanie herself deserves a million stars for her willingness to go the extra mile for every patient who walks through the doors of SBPS. She has done it all - digging into exact grams of tissue to remove to have my procedure covered by insurance, tracking down post-surgical bras when the ones I had didn't fit, explaining self-pay options when insurance didn't work out, moving other appointments around to squeeze me into appointment times that would work, and more. She even reached out to me right after my procedure just to see how I was doing and wish me well on the healing journey. I truly think that if every medical practice had their own Stephanie, we would be driving flying cars and there would be no war. I know that may sound dramatic, but in the past, my family and I have had our care compromised at other medical facilities when things like scheduling, follow up, and coordination slip through the cracks. Stephanie's dedication was a HUGE part of what made my overall experience so smooth and stress-free! Back to the procedure itself. Although I had my consult with Dr. Jewell in August, my surgery wasn't until December 11th. Something small to note if you're considering a reduction with SBPS: they perform surgeries both at their in-house surgical suite and at Torrance Memorial Hospital. They actually had openings a little earlier at their surgical suite, but you have to be below a certain BMI to have your surgery done at the surgical suite. If you do need to get your surgery done at Torrance Memorial, you may have to wait a little longer like I did, so I'd recommend scheduling your consultation ASAP 🙂 I can't say enough good things about the surgery itself and Dr. Jewell's work. I am now five days post-op and healing beautifully thanks to Dr. Jewell's amazing precision and detailed post-op care instructions. I brought a cheap t-shirt bra in my goal size to my last pre-op appointment with her to give her an estimate of goal volume, and she exceeded my expectations with her final result. I was worried that I would need a FNG - I wanted to go down 7 cup sizes, which is a huge change - but Dr. Jewell was able to achieve this result without a FNG and without any loss of sensation. She removed 3 lbs of tissue and I almost cried the second I woke up from surgery, as all my back, shoulder, and neck pain was completely gone. Thanks to her detailed post-op plan, I've been able to manage post-op pain using OTC Advil and Tylenol alone, and am getting stronger every day. I truly can't explain how life-changing this surgery has been for me. I've immediately been able to breathe better, sleep better, and finally no longer have constant back/neck pain, all thanks to Dr. Jewell and her team's amazing care. If you're in the South Bay area and considering a breast reduction, I would highly highly recommend Dr. Lisa Jewell and the entire team at SBPS!!

Dr. Jewell has performed two procedures on me. I was very satisfied with her work the first time, and by the second time I fully trusted her. The Surgery Scheduling Director, Jennifer Berman, was also incredibly helpful with my second surgery request. She worked very closely with me and helped make the impossible possible, providing clear timelines to follow. Dr. Jewell’s team is the best, and I will definitely return for future cosmetic work!

I've had 2 surgeries with Dr. Liang, liposuction and a tummy tuck. Dr. Liang is a wizard. I love my results. Most of all I appreciate his honesty and his integrity. The staff are professional and my nurse Martha was the most empathetic and kind person and I am so happy that she was the one to look after me after the surgery. I highly recommend SBPS to anyone looking to have some work done. They take wonderful care of their patients
