This is a 49 year-old female who was diagnosed with multifocal left breast DCIS. The patient opted for a left nipple-areolar sparing total mastectomy immediately followed by a left DIEP flap. Her first surgery went extremely well, and the patient returned three months later for her final stage surgery: to improve the symmetry between the two breasts the left breast was slightly reduced in size.
