Breast Reconstruction Before & After Case 77

This patient is a 43 year old who developed cancer in her right breast. She decided to have an areola sparing mastectomy. At the time of her mastectomy, her right breast was reconstructed with an expander.

 

Three months later, she returned to have her right expander replaced with an implant and right nipple reconstruction. This was performed using a free nipple graft which perfectly matched her intact areola. Also at that time, an implant was placed in the left breast and the left breast was lifted to make the breasts more even. The patient was an active professional and she was happy to complete her breast reconstruction in only three months. She was also delighted with the new shape of her breasts and her natural appearing result.
