This patient is a 25 year old female who has three children and a history of morbid obesity. She underwent a gastric lap band procedure and made a conscious effort to lose weight; however, after losing 100lbs, she was discouraged by the excess skin that remained. Despite her healthy BMI, she wasn’t pleased with how she looked in tighter fitting clothing and bathing suits. She consulted our surgeons for a panniculectomy (removing excess tissue of the abdomen) with a circumferential lower body lift (removing excess rolls from the back, which creates a natural appearing buttocks lift.) She now has the smoother abdominal contour from all angles and is much more confident and energetic about her appearance. Photos depict her results after 8 months, with which she is thrilled.
