This is a 28 year-old female patient sought consultation with one of our surgeons for what she termed her “bat wings”. She had attempted to tone her upper arms through diet and exercise; however, that area proved to be resistant to her efforts probably because “bat wings” runs in her family. Our surgeon recommended judicious liposuction, a procedure that would enhance the contour of her upper arm.
