South Bay Plastic Surgeons was proud to sponsor and participate in the 13th Annual BRA Run LA at Dockweiler Beach, hosted by Torrance Memorial in support of Evelyn’s Breast Friends Forever (BFF). This signature South Bay event raises awareness of breast cancer reconstruction and provides essential resources for survivors, including counseling, reconstruction support, and financial assistance that is often not covered by insurance.

This cause is especially meaningful for our Torrance plastic surgery practice. Evelyn, the founder of Evelyn’s BFF, is a patient of Dr. Michael Newman, one of our board-certified plastic surgeons. We are honored to continue supporting her vision of helping breast cancer survivors in the South Bay regain confidence, wellness, and balance after treatment.

As a long-time sponsor, South Bay Plastic Surgeons joined hundreds of community members who ran and walked along Dockweiler Beach in celebration of survivorship and awareness. Our participation reflects our dedication to advancing breast reconstruction education in Torrance and giving back to the South Bay community in impactful ways.

The BRA Run is more than a race. It is a vibrant community tradition that unites survivors, families, and supporters to honor those touched by breast cancer. We are proud to have sponsored this event for the 13th consecutive year and remain committed to supporting Evelyn’s BFF and the life-changing work it provides to women throughout Torrance and the South Bay.
