Abdominoplasty Before & After Photos

This 20 year old female was involved in an automobile accident. She sustained multiple injures resulting in a large abdominal wall hernia and scar. The patient was referred to our Plastic Surgeons for abdominal wall reconstruction.
 
During her surgery, the General Surgeon repaired her hernia and placed all of her intestines back into her abdominal cavity. The Plastic Surgeons then performed a component separation of her abdominal muscles to reconstruct her abdominal wall. No foreign materials (such as mesh or dermal grafts) were required.
 
The patient was very pleased and excited by the results of her surgery. The abdominal bulge was eliminated and her huge abdominal scar was gone. She felt like a normal woman.
