Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy
Many people are good candidates for intense pulsed light (IPL). IPL uses broad-spectrum light that filters out unwanted wavelengths as a means of treating a host of skin conditions and abnormalities.
In fact, IPL can diminish or remove:
- Age spots
- Liver spots
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Facial flushing
- Broken capillaries
- Telangiectasias (purple or blue veins on the face, also called spider veins)
- Minor sun damage
There is almost no downtime with IPL. That means you can go right back to your life after your treatment is complete.
Clinical studies show that 83% of patients were very satisfied with their IPL results when combined with the Obagi Nu-Derm System, versus 56% when having IPL alone.
