Maheshni Karunasena
Maheshni has been practicing medicine for fourteen years as a Physician Assistant specializing in Aesthetic Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
Maheshni has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California at Irvine and her post graduate Physician Assistant studies from the University of Southern California College of Medicine. Her training in Emergency Medicine includes advanced surgical procedures, trauma cases, as well as teaching medical students. To Aesthetic Medicine she brings expertise in injectables, numerous laser procedures, training staff, as well as patient education.
Maheshni is nationally certificated in both Surgery and Medicine since 1994.
Maheshni is originally from Sri Lanka and has lived in the United States since she was five years old. She will be available in our office full-time and looks forward to working with the Personal Image Center clients.

Lenka Stverakova
Lenka received her nursing degree in 1992 from a very well-known university in the Czech Republic, where she specialized in pediatric nursing. Upon arrival in the United States, her nursing credentials were accepted by the State Board of California and she quickly began to excel in her field, working at Torrance Memorial Medical Center in the Labor and Delivery Department.
While there, Lenka became interested in medical aesthetics and started to pursue an education in non-invasive, non-ablative medical procedures. She received training in all aspects of laser treatments and injectables and decided to pursue her newfound passion by accepting a highly integral position with a busy plastic surgeon.
Lenka's experience in the plastic and cosmetic surgery field grew while in this position, where she managed the successful office, assisted the surgeon in plastic and cosmetic surgeries, administered injectables, such as Restylane, and BOTOX® Cosmetic, and performed non-ablative laser treatments including treatments for tattoo removal, hair removal, wrinkle reduction, hyperpigmentation, mole and telangiectasia removal, and Photo facials.
In the fall of 2004, Lenka decided to focus exclusively on treating patients for their non-surgical, non-invasive concerns by joining The Personal Image Center® as a specialist in injectables and laser treatments. Her goal is to treat each patient as an individual, with individual concerns, desires, and requests. It is this philosophy that makes Lenka a favorite with patients and the friends, family members, and acquaintances they refer.
Lenka continues to deepen her knowledge in this field by attending annual meetings, such as the American Society of Plastic Surgery Nurses and also by continuing her education in the newest and latest technologies offered.
She looks forward to meeting new patients and offering them the individualized care they deserve with both established treatments and the latest proven technologies. Lenka is fluent in Czech and she understands Polish and Russian.

Patricia DelloRusso
Patricia DelloRusso has been a practicing Registered Nurse for 30 years. Her career has allowed her to work nationwide within the critical care and surgical specialties. It wasn’t until 5 year ago that she decided to devote her career soley to the practice of facial rejuvenation techniques. As a 30 year veteran within the medical profession, Patricia has held positions in critical care and post anesthesia care and worked all over the country. She received her ASN in New Jersey and then her BSN and Public Nurse Certification from CSUF in 1995.
Patricia has completed extensive certifications and training in all areas of facial aesthetics. Through her work she has been able to touch the lives of thousands of patients. One of her notable assets is her gentle and caring nature and recognizing the profound impact that facial rejuvenation procedures has made on her clients. Concentrating on correction techniques that promote more youthful appearances and harmony within all areas of the face and synergistically improving their self esteem and their lives on many levels. Her passion for beauty and her innate artistic skills has brought Patricia to the forefront of medical aesthetics. |

Andrea Hroch
Andrea is a California Licensed Registered Nurse who received her nursing degree from El Camino College with honors and multiple Directors' list awards.
Andrea is experienced in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery. She has received training and certification in Botox Cosmetic, laser treatments and injectibles. Andrea has decided to pursue her passion with us as a nurse who conducts treatments as well as cosmetic consults with our experienced and in demand team of board certified plastic surgeons, which makes her an excellent fit for our practice.
Andrea administers Botox, injectibles, performs non-ablative laser treatments including hair removal, wrinkle reduction, phototherapy, hyperpigmentation treatments, telangiectasia, mole and acrochordon removal, skin treatments, etc.
Andrea continues to pursue and extend her education in this field by attending meetings, seminars and training regularly.
Andrea is passionate about her role in the office and she is more than happy to see you in a complimentary consultation to discuss your special treatment plan. Lisa Sanchez
With five years of experience in the skincare industry, Lisa has been specially trained in advanced esthetic courses. She has been fully trained and certified at the International Dermal Institute, Obagi Nu Derm, all Biomedic peels, and microdermabrasion. Lisa's goal is to help you achieve beautiful, clear and healthy skin.

Vivian Jackson
Vivian has earned a reputation in the industry for her professionalism and her commitment to detail. She adheres to the philosophy: Education, both hers and the patient's, is key in achieving the best results in skin care. As a result of her continued education, Vivian is able to discern between proven treatments and transient fads. Vivian has extensive working knowledge in Obagi and Biomedic and is certified in the industry's most innovative procedures.
She has developed and mastered a progressive procedure for treating scars, currently being taught in other medical offices. Vivian provides her clients with protocols individually designed for optimal results and will continue to tailor treatments as progress is achieved.

Yoli Carr
Yoli has been working with skin for over 5 years. She regularly attends skin care classes on the latest techniques and products in order to further her knowledge and better serve her clients. Yoli takes pride in being extremely thorough with every client, and loves to help her clients understand that with proper care everybody can achieve a healthy complexion. She believes that no one should have to live with unhealthy or prematurely aging skin and always welcomes the chance to help clients feel better about themselves. Yoli takes pride in providing each of her clients a unique experience tailored specifically to his or her own individual needs. She will provide you with a calming and rejuvenating experience, with the goal of making your day and your skin a bit brighter.

Yvette has been in the medical field for eleven years and is bilingual. She has worked as a receptionist and medical assistant in urgent care, family practice, industrial medicine and Dermatology. She joined our team in 2006. |

Radka Kralik, Certified Medical Assistant
Radka has 4 years of experience in aesthetic medicine. She joined our team in 2006 and she enjoys working with plastic and reconstructive surgery patients. She is currently enrolled at El Camino College and is completing her prerequisites in order to enter their nursing program.

Claudia Izquieta, Certified Medical Assistant
Claudia has been a Certified Medical Assistant since 1996. She has worked with Plastic and Reconstructive surgeons since 2000. She has assisted doctors with minor cosmetic procedures and enjoys seeing the happiness in patients after going through a surgical procedure. Claudia joined our practice in February 2009 and we are lucky to have her join a great team of staff members and physicians. Welcome Claudia!
