How Does a Blue Peel Work?

Blue Peels work by combining TCA (Trichloroacetic acid) with a mild chemical that controls the pH of the solution. This mild chemical is the "blue stuff" which gives the Blue Peel it's name. The combination of a powerful exfoliating agent like TCA and the mild chemical control solution allow physicians more precision, and make the Blue Peel a much gentler procedure for the patient--especially compared to deep chemical peels and laser resurfacing.
