Abdominoplasty, After Massive Weight Loss Before & After Photos

This patient is a 46 year old woman who consulted with an Association of South Bay Plastic Surgeon for reconstructive surgery for massive weight loss.
 
She is 5ft tall and her weight before gastric bypass was 275 pounds with a Body Mass Index of 54. Two years after her gastric bypass, her weight remained stable at 185 pounds with a BMI of 36.
 
The patient had an intertriginous rash under her large pannus. She wished to have the excess skin removed from her abdomen. The patient and her surgeon decided to use an extended abdominoplasty to achieve her goals.
 
 In the operating room while she was asleep, two South Bay Plastic Surgeons working as a team removed the excess skin and subcutaneous tissue from her abdomen. Her abdominal wall was tightened with sutures and her belly button was repositioned.
 
She was very happy with the new shape of her tummy. She was relieved to be able to fit into normal the clothes.
